Theravāda budistička zajednica u Srbiji

Donation

Welcome!

Srednji Put (The Middle Way) is a non-profit Theravada Buddhist Society, founded on March 21, 2009 in Novi Sad, Serbia. The purpose of the Society is to, here in Serbia, support genuine transmission and better understanding of the Buddha’s source teachings as conveyed by Theravada tradition. The aim of such study and practice is to improve and enhance individuals’ psychophysical health and wellbeing, creativity, quality of life and social harmony — through the integration of Buddhist psychological principles in everyday life.

Working to that end, the Society maintains a website with exceptionally rich selections of the suttas translated into Serbian and also publishes books. We organize public and online Dhamma lectures, as well as meditation courses under the guidance of experienced monastics. Such endeavors are kindly supported by Aruna Rantagiri and Oxford Buddha Vihara Buddhist monasteries in Great Britain. The named monasteries follow the so-called Thai Forest tradition in the steps of great contemporary Theravada teachers such as Ajahn Chah and Ajahn Sumedho.

Membership in Srednji Put (Middle Way) is open to all those who accept the statute and the goals of the Society, as well as the manner of operating and decision making. The Society gathers members from various cities in Serbia and abroad.

If you are interested in supporting our work, please consider donating. Every donation, however modest, will be accepted with joy and gratitude.

May all beings be happy!
